Description
Use for: Cranberry is used for prevention and treatment of urinary tract infections or recurrent urinary tract infection with strong evidence. It is also used for neurogenic bladder, chronic fatigue syndrome and antiseptic.
Concerns: Cranberry is mostly well tolerated in appropriate doses with possible gastric discomfort or diarrhoea. Cranberry contains significant amount of salicylic acid that may trigger the aspirin allergy reaction or asthma. It also has concerns of increasing the risk for kidney stone formation due to its oxalate content. Avoid using on pregnancy and lactation.
